Tom Deneen started turning in 2003 as a way to relax after working all day in a nuclear power plant. Tom taught himself to turn for the most part, but he did read Richard Raffan’s books and watched how-to videos.
He has been a member of the American Association of Woodturners since 2006, and is the vice-president of the South Central PA Wood Turners. He currently works for the State of Pennsylvania as a radiation health physicist (X-ray inspector). Tom has been married for 37 years, with three children and 11 grandchildren.
